Mad Meow Music is a unique independent label created and developed by Dejha Colantuono in 2000. "I started this label / production company out of necessity. Honestly I didn't want to do it.  I just realized that I was already doing pretty much everything on my own and I certainly wasn't going to wait around for Mr Big-Time to call from Huge-O Records. The idea was was to generate energy and to create a competent structure which would act as launching pad for my Music. It was time to become my own Impresario...and own it."

Mad Meow Music is born and bred of the DIY philosophy. We are an unconventional label bringing individuality and passion to the forefront where it belongs.  MMM is not part of the major label machine and this allows us to choose and promote projects that we truly believe in.  Bringing a fresh insight and knowledge to the music industry is our goal. Based in New York City, Mad Meow Music is striving to broaden what a standard label can do for artists by bringing to light what they can do for themselves.

We have the background and experience to create opportunities for our artists. We believe that even though there is a massive machine churning out carbons, there is still a large audience interested in true artistry and we make it our goal to connect the music with music lovers across the globe.
